Course Name: The Journey of a Doctor of Information Technology Student
Course Details: Charles Sturt University is offering a free short course for prospective candidates of the Doctor of Information Technology programme. The DIT degree at Charles Sturt University enables students to adequately develop professional IT practice skill. Students will also develop the knowledge and insight that help them to resolve problems in the ICT fields.
The course will be taught by Steven Zobrist, who is a recent graduate of the programme. He is well affiliated with the university and has taught in several courses including Microsoft Server Technologies and Network and Information Security.
The four week course will cover several modules. The course schedule is as follows:
- Module 1: What is a DIT and how is it different from a PhD?
- Module 2: Designing your Research
- Module 3: Support and Tools
- Module 4: Thesis Submission
- Assessment: Examination Period
All materials will be provided for the course and all webinar sessions will be recorded. Students will be awarded a certificate of completion if a pass mark of 50% for the assessment is achieved.
